  • What information do you need from me leading up to the wedding day?

Answer:

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question:

  • Every wedding is different, because of that, I want to make sure I’m capturing exactly what is important to you! I send a questionnaire that you can fill in as much as you would like. This gives me a more specific idea of events and moments to keep an eye out for. On the wedding day, I use your timeline and this questionnaire as a reference guide!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question:

Answer:

  • What happens if you're unable to photograph my wedding due to unforeseen circumstances?

  • In the unlikely event that I'm unable to photograph your wedding due to unforeseen circumstances, I have a network of trusted photographers that have been photographing specifically with/and for me for years. I will work with you to ensure that you receive a full refund or secure one of my associates ready for your day.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question:

Answer:

  • What if you have not photographed at my venue before?

  • I have shot at over 80 venues in the Houston area! However, there are hundreds of venues, and new ones popping up every year. Sometimes the photos in my portfolio are my first time working at that specific venue. I like to arrive 15-30 minutes early on the day to familiarize myself with the grounds and take note of any potential locations that would be great for couple portraits.
I also arrive prepared with equipment to shoot in any type of lighting situation - using my own lighting if necessary. And I’m able to assess the lighting that’s needed within 5-10 minutes of scanning the room.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question:

Answer:

  • I just booked you! When can I schedule my portrait session?

  • You can schedule your session as soon as you’re booked! I’m happy to get those dates on the calendar as soon as possible to ensure we can make time for the both of our schedules. Since I am a wedding photographer, I am booked on weekends and unable to schedule sessions at those times. However, I can make most Monday - Thursdays work.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question:

Answer:

  • How far in advance should I book my wedding photographer?

  • I recommend booking your wedding photographer at least 8-18 months in advance to ensure availability. Popular wedding dates and venues tend to book up quickly, so it's best to secure your photographer as soon as possible.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question:

Answer:

  • Will you Photoshop my images?

  • Aside from the occasional blemish, I do not photoshop/or manipulate the images taken. As a wedding photographer, I’m here to document what is truly happening in the moment. Plus, this takes an extensive amount of time on top of also editing the colors and tones. Photo manipulation is available for an additional fee of $50/image.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question:

Answer:

  • Do you provide the RAW, unedited files?

  • Unfortunately, I do not - the RAW, unedited files are not included or delivered. This would be similar to asking your florist for the stems that were trimmed off. Or asking your dress or tux shop for all the excess fabric.
Any photos that are not edited or delivered are either redundant (exact duplicates) or outtakes - like out of focus images, test shots, unflattering images, random shots of my shoes, etc.
